Established in 1967, the Centre for East Anglian Studies (CEAS) has a large archive of documents, books and publications.
An introduction to the CEAS archive
The CEAS Archive contains documents and materials made or retained by the Centre since 1966, including the founding document, signed by Alfred Hassell Smith in June 1966.
The collection includes minutes, agenda & correspondence for CEAS Committees 1966—1996 (with some material 1992—2010), including the founding documents. These Commitee documents, plus copies of various CEAS publications and CEAS exhibition posters form the bulk of the archive.
